Supreme Court notifies nine-judge Bench for Sabarimala verdict review

The Supreme Court has constituted a nine-judge Constitution Bench, led by Chief Justice of India Surya Kant, to commence hearing the Sabarimala review case from April 7, 2026. This case re-examines the Court's 2018 verdict that permitted women of all age groups to enter the Sabarimala temple.
