Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge accused the ruling government of violating the Model Code of Conduct by convening a special Parliament session starting April 16, 2026. The alleged motive is to hastily pass a Constitutional Amendment Bill to fast-track the implementation of the women's quota law via a new delimitation exercise.
