India's Commerce Minister has announced that a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) with the European Union (EU) is expected to be signed by December 2024 and implemented by early 2025. This 'mother of all deals' aims to provide duty-free access to a vast majority of Indian exports while lowering tariffs on specific EU imports.
