New rural job scheme VB-G RAM-G pays 10% more than MGNREGA

The Union Ministry of Rural Development has announced the replacement of MGNREGA with a new rural employment guarantee scheme, VB-G RAM-G. This new scheme introduces a national base wage of ₹300 per day, increases average daily wages by approximately 10%, and expands the annual employment guarantee from 100 to 125 days per household.
