NITI Aayog to review industrial corridor framework, seeks reforms to speed project execution
What's happening now
The government has tasked NITI Aayog with a comprehensive review of the framework governing industrial corridors, parks, and manufacturing ecosystems. Under the guidance of the High-Level Committee on Implementation of Viksit Bharat Goals, chaired by Rajiv Gauba, this stakeholder consultation aims to identify bottlenecks and recommend systemic reforms in planning, execution, and connectivity to accelerate project delivery and enhance investor experience, aligning with the goal of a developed India by 2047.
