The Union Cabinet has approved a comprehensive financial package of Rs 2.79 lakh crore across three key sectors. This includes a significant hike in the Minimum Support Price (MSP) for six Rabi crops for the 2027-28 marketing season, a massive Rs 1.86 lakh crore allocation for the PM DHARA initiative to boost renewable energy access, and Rs 1,790 crore for implementing an Intelligent Traffic Management System (ITMS) in Delhi to tackle urban congestion.
