Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal announced that India is actively negotiating Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) with 8 to 9 more blocs and nations, aiming to integrate into global value chains by covering 75% of global trade. India has recently expanded its preferential market access by signing nine FTAs, covering economies worth $60 trillion, complementing earlier pacts with Japan, Korea, and ASEAN.
