Argentina committed to reducing barriers to facilitate entry of Indian pharma sector: Government

During the India-Argentina Joint Trade Committee (JTC) meeting, Argentina committed to reducing barriers for the Indian pharmaceutical sector, including upgrading India's status in its regulatory framework. The discussions also highlighted significant progress in bilateral trade, which crossed $6.5 billion in 2025, and explored expanded cooperation in mining (specifically lithium), energy, infrastructure, and emerging technologies. Furthermore, talks emphasized the expansion of the existing India-Mercosur Preferential Trade Agreement (PTA).
