Refund and Cancellation Policy

1. Applicability

This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies only to paid subscriptions (BASIC tier) on MockTestZone. Free tier users and guest users are not eligible for refunds as no payment is involved.

By purchasing a subscription, you acknowledge the experimental nature of our AI platform and agree to this refund policy.

Refunds MAY be considered ONLY in the following exceptional cases:

3.1 Technical Issues

• Platform is completely inaccessible for more than 7 consecutive days
• Payment was charged multiple times for the same subscription (duplicate charges)
• Technical error preventing access to paid features despite valid subscription
• System error resulting in incorrect pricing at checkout

3.2 Pre-Purchase Issues

• Accidental purchase within 24 hours AND zero usage of paid features
• Unauthorized transaction (with police complaint copy)

4. Non-Refundable Scenarios

NO REFUNDS will be provided for:

• Dissatisfaction with AI-generated content quality or accuracy
• Exam failure or poor performance
• Platform not meeting your expectations
• Features not working as you expected
• Change of mind after purchase
• Inability to use the platform due to your device/internet issues
• Partial month usage (no pro-rata refunds)
• Subscription renewal that you forgot to cancel
• Price changes after your purchase
• Disagreement with our terms, policies, or practices

5. Refund Request Process

If you believe you qualify for a refund under the limited scenarios above:

2. Required Information:
   • Registered email address
   • Transaction ID and payment receipt
   • Date of purchase
   • Detailed reason for refund request
   • Supporting evidence (screenshots, error messages, etc.)
3. Review Period: We will review your request within 7-10 business days
4. Decision: Our decision is final and non-appealable
5. Processing: If approved, refunds will be processed within 15-30 days to the original payment method

6. Subscription Cancellation

6.1 Cancellation Rights

You may cancel your subscription at any time. However, cancellation does NOT entitle you to a refund.

• Log in to your account dashboard
• Navigate to Subscription Settings
• Click "Cancel Subscription"
• Confirm cancellation

6.3 Effect of Cancellation

• Access continues until the end of the current billing period
• No refund for unused time in the billing period
• Automatic renewal will stop
• You can resubscribe anytime

Warning: Initiating a chargeback without contacting us may result in permanent account suspension and ban from all MockTestZone services.

9. Force Majeure

No refunds will be provided for service interruptions due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, government actions, internet outages, cyber attacks, or AI service provider failures.

10. Policy Modifications

We reserve the right to modify this refund policy at any time. Changes will not affect purchases made before the modification date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified terms.

11. Governing Law

This policy is governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
