Many free PYQ PDFs are retyped, or copied from a coaching site with its logo and its answers. These are taken from SSC's own candidate response sheets.
Every key is read from SSC's candidate response sheet, where SSC itself marks the correct option. These are SSC's answers, not a coaching institute's.
Many shifts survive in more than one candidate's response sheet. Across the 144 papers we read, 8,149 questions could be compared with a second copy, and the two keys agreed on every one.
Each PDF is one complete Tier 1 shift: 100 questions in four parts of 25, in the order the exam showed them. Figures, tables and maths are kept as SSC printed them, taken from the sheet's own images.
Response sheets carry a candidate's roll number and often a coaching site's watermark. None of that is in these files.
The cover gives the parts, the 60 minutes and SSC's marking: +2 for a correct answer, -0.5 for a wrong one. The 2026 notice adds a 15-minute timer for each part.
This set gives SSC's answer key after the paper. Worked solutions are not included yet.

Yes. Every paper ends with SSC's official answer key, read from SSC's own candidate response sheet and checked against a second copy of the same shift wherever one was available.
Only the answer key. Each PDF gives the 100 questions and SSC's answer for each, so you can mark yourself, but it does not work through the solutions.

100 multiple-choice questions in four parts of 25: English, General Intelligence and Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude and General Awareness. 60 minutes and 200 marks, +2 for a correct answer and -0.5 for a wrong one. The 2026 notice gives each part its own 15-minute timer.
English. The English part of CHSL is set in English for every candidate, and these PDFs carry the English version of the other three parts.
No. MockTestZone is not SSC; SSC's official website is ssc.gov.in. These papers are taken from the candidate response sheets SSC issues after each exam, with SSC's answer key, and set out as clean PDFs.
Sit the whole paper in 60 minutes, 15 minutes a part as the 2026 notice sets, without looking at the key. Then mark it: +2 for each correct answer and -0.5 for each wrong one, out of 200. Note which part lost the most marks and practise that part first.
No. All of them are free and there is no payment at any point. You sign in once so your downloads stay together, and that is the only step.
